Weeds Are Wildflowers Too! with Nigel Slater

What could possibly be interesting about weeds? Widespread and much maligned, they are truly fascinating. Nettles are used to make clothing, dandelions are crammed full of vitamins and daisy petals diffuse light to attract pollinators. Found in the cracks in pavements and growing in every garden, there is a lot to discover about our most common plants.

We are currently trialling contactless payments but we would prefer cash.

Our new talk programme has started and features talks on a range of subjects including The Making of Springwatch (Part Two)Bird RingingThe Missing Lynx (rewilding), WeedsCetaceansBritain's OrchidsBeetles and Forensic Science. There will be something for everyone.

You can view the full flyer for the 2024/2025 talk programme here.
