Forensic Science: Its Use In Nature with Jim Campbell
Jim leaves the courtroom and takes us outdoors to demonstrate how forensic science can inform us about the natural world. He will tell us how it is possible to detect the presence of great-crested newts from a tiny drop of pond water or if there is dolphin meat in your tuna sandwich. A truly fascinating night awaits! This meeting includes our brief AGM.
We are currently trialling contactless payments but we would prefer cash.
Our current talk programme has featured talks on a range of subjects including The Making of Springwatch (Part Two), Bird Ringing, The Missing Lynx (rewilding), Weeds, Cetaceans, Britain's Orchids, Beetles. There has been something for everyone.
